Meet our CEO, Dr. Dan Jager, a highly accomplished and experienced leader in the international business world. With an impressive educational background, Dr. Dan Jager holds a PhD in Molecular and Genetic Aspects of Microbial Physiology from the Technical University of Munich. In addition, he has a Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry obtained from the Ruhr -university Bochum Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology .
With a wealth of professional experience, Dr. Dan Jager has held various leadership positions across Germany, Switzerland, and Luxembourg. He served as the Chemical Supervisor of Bayern Germany, where he was responsible for overseeing the management of chemical processes and operations. Dr. Dan Jager also worked as the Commercial Sales Manager for Selectchemie Chemical Switzerland, where he was responsible for the Africa and Middle East department. He began his career as the Export Manager for Major Luxembourg company, where he worked as a business manager.
With a keen eye for project management, Dr. Dan Jager earned a degree in this field from the Stuttgart Institute. He is fluent in English, German, and French, which enables him to effectively communicate with stakeholders from different countries and cultures.

Prior to founding DCA, an investment advisory firm based in Dakar, SENEGAL, Lena Sene was the Executive Director of Business Development at CGF Bourse in Senegal for 4 years. Before that, Lena was a Managing Director at Deer Isle Capital LLC in New York, where she was responsible for overall business development and for the firm’s Africa investment strategy. Prior to Deer Isle, Lena was at Impact Capital Partners, an international alternative investment advisory firm focused on emerging and frontier markets. She began her banking career as a Private Banker at JPMorgan Chase from 2000 to 2004 and at Lehman Brothers from 2004 to 2006.
In 2006, Lena was appointed by President Georges W. Bush to the White House Fellowship, a 58 year-old non-partisan leadership program, along with 13 other nationally selected Americans. She served for Secretary Alphonso R. Jackson at the Department of Housing and Urban Development. She obtained Top Secret Security Clearance from the FBI. Lena was also selected 1 of 120 global scholar-leaders inducted into the Academy of Achievement Class of 2007.
In 2012, Lena was selected by former Prime Minister of SENEGAL, Idrissa Seck, to serve as his Campaign Director during the Senegalese presidential elections.
Lena has a B.A. in Economics from Bates College, an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master in Public Administration (MPA) from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where she was selected a Mort Zuckerman Fellow. She is fluent in English, French, Russian and Wolof.
